New features in Photoshop CS4

Photoshop CS4 offers a new 3D engine that makes it possible to paint directly on 3D models, put 2D images into 3D shapes, add depth to layers and text, and get print-quality output with the new ray-tracing rendering engine. It supports 3D formats, the new Adjustment and Mask Panels.

You can create more exact composites working with the new Auto-Align Layers command, and the spherical alignment to create 360-degree panoramas. The Auto-Blend Layers command mixes color and shading, stretches out the depth of field by correcting vignettes and lens distortion.

The Camera Raw plug-in allows applying corrections to specific areas of an image. Photoshop CS4 integrates with Photoshop Lightroom 2. With it you can open photos from Lightroom in Photoshop.   Combined photos from Lightroom automatically open into panoramas as HDR images, or open as multilayer Photoshop file.

Content Aware Resizing allows you to transform an image by removing pixel of areas of information that is not important. You can make amazing changes to an image simply by dragging the image.
